Home Buyers Survey and Valuations (HSV)

Designed for houses built in the last 150 years and in reasonable condition, the Home Buyers Survey will help the buyer assess whether the property is sound. The surveyor assesses the visible parts of the property and highlights matters that need action or evaluation by the client before the exchange of contracts.

Buildings Surveys, also known as Structural Surveys

More detailed still, this survey entails a thorough examination of the property inside and out, and identifies any defects or other factors which may affect its value.

Home Information Packs

For those selling their home, RM English professionals will compile the Home Information Pack, or HIP. This includes the sale statement - summarising the terms of sale - evidence of title and standard searches. It must also contain an Energy Performance Certificate with advice on how to cut CO2 emissions and fuel bills.
